The sample-to-production process is the most underestimated part of clothing production. Brands that do not understand this process run into planning problems, quality disappointments and cashflow surprises.
Step 1 — Briefing and product advice
You begin with a conversation about your product: which material, which style, which finish, which volume and which timeline? BC Branding gives concrete advice based on experience with hundreds of projects. Free and without obligation.
Step 2 — Sample production
Based on the approved briefing, the factory makes a pre-production sample. This is a physical product that matches your specifications. You receive it in the Netherlands for assessment. Sample production takes 2–4 weeks including shipping.
Step 3 — Sample approval
You assess the sample: quality, fit, colour, detailing. If adjustments are needed, a revised sample is made — this adds 2–3 weeks. Each adjustment round is documented so the factory knows exactly what to change.
Step 4 — Series production with quality control
After written approval, series production begins. BC Branding's QC teams check materials before production starts, monitor inline during production and carry out an AQL 2.5 end inspection before shipping.
Step 5 — Delivery
After the quality inspection, your order ships. Sea freight from China to the Netherlands takes 6–8 weeks. Air freight takes 7–10 days. From brief to delivery, an order at BC Branding averages 15–25 weeks by sea freight and 10–18 weeks by air freight.
